MEET THE FACILITATOR
Elizabeth Bast serves as an award-winning writer, yoga teacher, performance artist, ceremonial facilitator, speaker/educator, & holistic coach specializing in sacred plant medicine support, spirit-led addiction recovery, & visionary life design. She is a lifelong devotee of plant medicine and prayer, having been raised within a long family line of plant healers and a Native inter-tribal community with traditional ceremony. Her greater intentions are to help facilitate 100% natural bliss, synergy between culture and nature, and conversations between the old & the new and the East & the West. She studied at New College of San Francisco with an emphasis on Art and Social Change. Bast completed the transformational coach training program with Being True to You. Bast is the author HEART MEDICINE: A True Love Story, an award-winning intimate memoir about a healing experience with the African sacred medicine, iboga. Bast is a recipient of a "Women of the Psychedelic Renaissance" grant from the psychedelic feminist organization Cosmic Sister and a member of Cosmic Sister's Expert Advisory Circle.

The love of my life experienced a deadly opiate relapse. Spirit guided us to the sacred iboga medicine and traditional Bwiti ceremony. I chose to experience the medicine as well, to help heal persistent PTSD. The medicine ceremony helped us both to save ourselves—from ourselves.

Spirit lit a fire under my ass to write HEART MEDICINE, an intimate memoir and psychedelic love story. The book felt guided. It served as both an educational work of art and my own integration process. The 400 page book was completed in 6 months and, thanks to a successful crowdfunding campaign, it was edited and available on every major online book seller in another 6 months. I learned a lot about crowdfunding in general and how it can serve not only to fund your book's production, but how it can also be a platform to reach a community. |
Despite my love of writing, I confess that I have always had a very hard time sitting still! I love movement, yoga, dance, touch, connecting with people, and being in nature. I discovered potent keys and codes to the "bliss-ipline" of writing and manifesting a book as a tool for collective evolution.

In the spirit of service, I went on to speak at several international conferences, events, and on panels with leading experts in the field of psychedelic medicine. Numerous podcast episodes bloomed. Many creative collaborations were born. Activism flowed. Along with an incredible community, my love and I supported educational campaigns that continue to change the world's social fabric and drug policy. Documentaries are in the works.
Spirit led me to develop a coaching practice that supports visionary creators to "bear the fruit" of sacred medicine work. |

WHAT KIND OF TIME COMMITMENT IS REQUIRED?
To be fully involved in the course, plan to reserve 3 hours a week total for the 2 live calls noted above in the "course includes" section (or watch the recordings) and brief check ins on the Facebook group. Your writing, editing, and business action time is up to you. All participation is optional.
WILL I HAVE A BOOK BORN IN 6 WEEKS?
Likely not. And that's not the purpose of this course. This is a "boot camp" style download to provide you with writing coaching, vital information, and resources for the broader path. It might take as little as a season to birth your book into the world if the bulk of it is already written. I may take 1 or more years for the entire process of writing, editing, and publishing if you are starting from scratch. It also depends on how much time in your schedule you can dedicate to your writing, editing, and business projects.
HOW LONG WILL I HAVE ACCESS TO THE RECORDED VIDEO CALLS & COURSE MATERIALS?
The downloadable play-books are yours to keep forever. The recorded transmission call videos will be accessible for up to 3 months after the course ends, at a minimum.
WILL I HAVE SUPPORT AFTER THE COURSE?
The Facebook group will be an ongoing community, and the partner accountability projects can continue indefinitely.
